Guayaquil Tropical (3 days)

You will be met and assisted by one of our experienced English-speaking guides at the airport. Transfer to the hotel Hampton Inn (****). Afterwards you will depart on a panoramic walking tour through Guayaquil by night. A short walk along the illuminated promenade on the shores of Guayas River is included with a fantastic view on the vibrant city.


Guayaquil is Ecuador’s most populous city and the country’s economic hub. The most important port on the Pacific Coast of South America, Guayaquil, located on the shores of the wide Guayas River, is a charming metropolis full of life, a place where past and present melt. Watch the exotic iguanas in Parque Bolívar, stroll along the remodeled waterfront of Guayas River to the historic neighborhood of Las Peñas, and enjoy the panoramic view from Santa Ana hill over the pulsating city, the slow Guayas River, and the green belt of mangroves. At the foot of El Carmen hill, you will find “White Town”, a giant cemetery with numerous marble monuments from the early 20th century. In the Parque Histórico, you may observe different animal species of the coastal lowlands in a natural setting. The carefully restored houses and haciendas from the era of the cocoa boom transport you back in time to the late 19th century.
